The leaves look a bit like thistles but they are "soft" to the touch. The plants do well in undisterbed locations where they get some sun but can keep their roots cool. We have another location of these flowers and they will be flowering soon. These are early bloomers, showing off or maybe they just couldn't wait ! I am ready for a fresh new start and simply a good year ! It dosen't have to be great mind you - just good. I am still considering this a year to "Simplify" but it seems the harder I try the worse it gets, so maybe I won't try so hard !! I know I do need to make more of an effort to post here and get my Etsy shop filled up. Have started on the Etsy already, with some wonderful natural muslin material that is pretty close to flour sack cotton. Wonderful for hand embroidery and dish towels.
